What we Believe

Mission Statement

Remedy City Church exists to take the remedy of Jesus Christ to the people of our city. Because we believe in addressing the deep needs of our community, we aim to make Muncie better by showing the love of Christ to others through every interaction.

Values

Above all else, Remedy City Church is a church that prays, loves, and goes—in that order.

First, we pray. Out of our relationship with God, comes an overflowing well of love for those around us. From that love for others, comes the drive to go out into our community and make a difference. We aim to make a difference in the lives around us by showing them the love of Jesus Christ.

Beliefs

We believe and teach the Bible, and we believe the Bible clearly teaches the following:

God made the world and everything in it. He had the right, as maker, to be ruler and judge and lawgiver.

Though man and woman sinned, God determined to show off his mercy and grace by offering a perfect sacrifice, Jesus Christ his eternal Son, to stand in our place. Jesus satisfied God the Father’s justice against wrongdoing by receiving our punishment for us. Jesus won our salvation by his perfect living so that his death, for his part, was not deserved. When he resurrected three days after his crucifixion, he purchased our freedom from guilt and death. He purchased eternal forgiveness and salvation for all who believe in him. And now God calls us to himself by his Son Jesus Christ. If we turn in submissive repentance and faith, God will, by taking pleasure in his Son, bestow upon us the lavish gift of eternal life.

Remedy City Church is formally affiliated with:

While we are not very "southern," we are delighted to affiliate with the Southern Baptist Convention’s Cooperative Program for the sake of missions and evangelism effectiveness. We are grateful for our sister churches across the nation. Together we can do more.

We also cherish the “9 marks of a healthy church.”

We adore our college students from Ball State University, Taylor University, and Indiana Wesleyan University, and we endeavor to support and encourage Christian student organizations on campus such as the Ball State chapters of Cru and Navigators.

We actively collaborate with the Community Care Network, which places Christian programming directors in local apartment complexes.

We celebrate the Muncie Fire Department and seek to continually support and encourage them.
